Michelle & Matt’s Winter Engagement in Morrison with Horses & Dogs!
Happy Spring! As the flowers begin to bloom and the snow is melting, we’re taking it back a few months to Michelle & Matt’s winter engagement session in Morrison. These two love birds opted to have their session done at Matt’s family property because they wanted to include their horses and their adorable pup in their photos. Both love the outdoors and are Colorado natives, so naturally being in the mountains is a given.
We met up with them towards the evening to get some of that amazing golden light. It was a beautiful day without a single cloud in the sky (typical Colorado winter weather). Starting with just Michelle & Matt, we walked around their amazing property to get some great shots of them interacting with each other. Their adorable dog wanted to join in the fun so he came barreling down the road to greet us. He was definitely not shy about wanting to hang around.
After walking around a bit more, we decided to head back up to where the horse stables were. Michelle & Matt also received an engagement video and we separated them for a little bit to ask them some questions about their lives and what they loved about each other. It was definitely fun hearing about how they ride their grandparents tandem bike around town to get ice cream every weekend.
Finally it was time to bring out their horses. They were gentle and calm as Michelle climbed on one of their backs while Matt lead them around. They definitely had some fun riding the horse and we got some great shots of them with the beauty of the Colorado Rockies behind them.
Congratulations Michelle & Matt! We are so excited to be there with you on your big day when you get married at The Chateaux at Fox Meadows in June.
