Carolyn and Kevin had one spectacular and one of the most unique weddings that we’ve been a part of. It was a beautiful day to have a wedding at the The Chateaux at Fox Meadows. We love shooting at The Chateaux because it’s spacious, has a lot of natural light, and just gorgeous in general. One of the things we love about weddings is the emotion that is captured throughout the night; and you can definitely see and feel the love that both Carolyn and Kevin had for each other throughout the ceremony.
Since the bride has Japanese heritage in her background, she wanted to incorporate some of those elements into her wedding ceremony and decor. This includes a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony performed during the wedding. Another element with some Japanese flair was the amazing origami decor throughout the venue. Some of her family members created a beautiful chandelier made from gold colored paper cranes that hung above the amazing cake from Nancy’s Best Cake Design. She also had an amazing bouquet made completely out of paper flowers. All of the decor and the colors played very beautifully off of each other and there were a lot of great details about this wedding.
After a very lovely ceremony, the room was transformed into an amazing reception space. Everyone was ready to have a great time, including one of the groomsmen who managed to perform a great dance to Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean…which included the sequin jacket and white glove. The entire night was a blast to be a part of – everyone was having the time of their lives.
Thank you again, Carolyn & Kevin, for inviting us to photograph your Chateaux wedding – it was an honor to be a part of your incredible wedding day. We wish nothing but the very best for the two of you.
